The more things you will know.

                                               The more that you learn,

                                            The more places you’ll go.”

This website was designed to give you information about children’s books.  Reading to children is one of the most important things that you can do.  It can open their minds and enhance their imagination.  Books can take you to far off places and big adventures.  It is found that children who are read to when they are young do better in school throughout the years.  By reading to your children you will enhance their language skills, reading skills and increase their interest in reading.  Set aside a special time with your child to read!  For more information about ways to increase your child's eagerness to read please check out Barbara Curtis' Web site about her "Ready, Set, Read!" program.

Throughout my college career I have been given many opportunities to read children’s literature.  Please feel free to visit the “book reviews” page to view my opinions of some children’s books that I have read.  I hope that this page will help you add to your child’s library.

I have also been given the chance to write and illustrate my own picture book.  Please click on the “picture book” link to view my picture book and share it with your children.  Please feel free to give your own opinions of my picture book.
